The Solution Meraki focuses on the capacity building of primary caregivers of children under 10 years of age, who are “first responders” to the child’s stimulation, socialisation, language, care and security needs. They have created a technology-led, research-based digital intervention for parents to enable a positive, responsive and learning environment at home. They share micro-courses for parents through daily text messages, phone based ‘podcasts/IVR calls’ and WhatsApp messages, providing simple, practical ideas to address the challenges of childcare and learning.
