Q: How does NSRCEL help enhance my entrepreneurial potential?
Like any other personality trait, entrepreneurial characteristics need to be tempered and fine-tuned to match the latent and obvious opportunities in the business landscape. NSRCEL first evaluates your idea, hones it, and sets you thinking on the possibilities. Having an idea is in itself not a big thing. The challenge is to mould the idea into a solution, leading to a profitable business activity.
Q: Does NSRCEL expect a specific academic background in an entrepreneur?
No. What singularly matters is the intrinsic value of your idea, and the vision of what the product or service can do. You, of course need to be intelligent and be able to clearly articulate your proposition to NSRCEL.
Q: What is the specific assistance offered by NSRCEL to an aspiring entrepreneur?
NSRCEL provides the essential infrastructure to get the evaluated idea, up and running. This includes cubicle space with computers and Internet access, facilities like photocopying, facsimile and telephone, access to the IIMB library, access to expert advice and various external forums.
Q: How does one gain access to the services of the incubation centre?
You first have to submit your idea supported by a preliminary business proposal, through email to ideas@nsrcel.org. Based on the Screening Committee's evaluation, you will be informed of the further course of action.
Q: After the incubation process is complete, what will be the relation of NSRCEL to the incubated project?
Once the evaluated idea is built, tried and tested in local environs, NSRCEL will help you network externally to take the fledgling business to the next phase of growth. The external parties could be Venture Capitalists, Companies, Industry experts and others.
