The NSRCEL boasts of a good team of Industry Professionals and Entrepreneurs who are ready to mentor a ‘start-up’. These Mentors have rich and varied experience and are from a wide array of Industries. Thus the NSRCEL incubatee will benefit form their rich experience of managing a start-up to a Business entity status. The decision of appointing a Mentor will be the prerogative of the Organisation; however Incubating Team can definitely seek an Interaction with the permission of the Organisation with different set of mentors.

Asvini has many years of experience in the IT services business, including 15 years as an entrepreneur. He subsequently had a 4-year stint with PSI Bull as Product Support Manager handling large clients like ONGC. He founded Thinksoft with the objective of providing value added IT consulting services, mainly in the areas of requirements testing, documentation and domain consulting. In 1998, his pioneering efforts towards creating an India-based independent test service model was proved a success, when Citi Group became the first client to use Thinksoft's India based test centers in one of its large Global flagship projects.
Asvini is an alumnus of the Osmania University and IIM, Bangalore (1981), Asvini co-founded and ran a startup for 2 years (1981-83), before moving to IIM - B for a year to set up and upgrade their student and faculty computing facilities. A recipient of many academic scholarships and professional awards, Asvini lives in Bangalore with his wife and son. He is an avid reader. He also likes to swim, trek, and listen to music.
Balaji Graduated from the University of Madras in 1986 and Chartered Accountancy in 1988.
Bharat is a graduate from St.Stephen's College affiliated to Delhi University with an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi.
Dilip has an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad & Degrees in Science and Law from Bombay University, Advanced Executive Programme (AEP) from Kellogg School of Management, North-Western University, USA.
Guhesh Ramanathan serves as independent director / strategic advisor for many start-ups in domains that span mobility services, education and measurement of ability, clean energy, eco-tourism and social entrepreneurship. His early career in IT (IDM, WIPRO and Digital Equipment Corporation) transitioned into a move into full-time entrepreneurship in 1994. He has tried to bridge the opportunity gap using technology at organizations such as TVA Infotech, help.com, and most recently, at the Professional Aptitude Council (PAC).
Guhesh is a graduate in electrical engineering from IT-BHU (1985), and holds a PGDM from IIM Bangalore (1988). He is an experiential learner and teacher. He is currently combining his experiences as a Scuba Diver, and as a Mentor to organizations and people, in a series that he calls the Scuba Sutras: Ten Lessons from under the Sea.
Mohan has worked across a wide range of industries in top management/ business leadership roles with strategy and technology being the anchors. He is currently consulting in executive and organisation mentoring. He has been starting up technology based businesses for over 16 years in various industries. He held various positions in different organizations as Group President and Head - Business Intelligence and Strategy of Future Tree Group (Mining, Metals, Powergen, Education), as EIR and Consultant of Artiman Ventures LLC (Venture Capital – Early stage Technology Indo-US Cross-border), Director – Global Technical Marketing and India Operations of NetDevices Inc (Datacom equipment startup sold to Alcatel), Co-founder and Board Member CareersIndia and Vectra group (IT/ System Integration/ Mgmt Consulting/ HR Services/ Software Dev), Director - HCL Frontline (Madras) Ltd.
Mohan is an alumnus of IIM-A, holds MBA in Marketing and Systems.He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Madras. His other interests include open source movement, education for the underprivileged, social enterprise, poetry and music.
Prashant, Chief Executive Officer of Blueshift India Pt Ltd is a management professional with around 24 years of experience spanning different industries: Petroleum, Banking, Retail, Offshore IT services, BPO and IT products. He has worked in the HR function in a wide range of industries, starting from Hindustan Petroleum, ANZ Grindlays (Banking), Coats Viyella (Premium fashion retail) and Motorola. He created the Contact Center Business Unit of Digital Globalsoft (now part of HP) from blueprint stage, started operations with 50 people in June 2002 and grew it to 2500 people by Dec 2005. His experience also extends to BPO industry as COO of Indecomm Global Services. He is the first Chair-person for the ITES Forum of NASSCOM, Karnataka.
Prashant is a Management Graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur and holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry with added specialization in Physics and Mathematics. His interests include reading and writing poetry.
Rakesh Godhwani is a coach of sales and marketing. Rakesh has worked for over 12 years in companies like Wipro, Intel and Qualcomm, in various roles like techmarketing, product marketing, business development and sales. His first brush with customer engagement was at Wipro in 1998 where he got to interface with a top client at a very young age. Later, he moved to Intel to start a tech marketing centre for graphics chipsets from Bangalore. Rakesh then moved to Qualcomm to head the mobile applications ecosystem for SAARC. He then decided to focus, full time, on coaching startups and doing projects with a larger social impact. He currently is the head of IIMB Alumni Association and advisor to Mango Technologies, which got acquired by Qualcomm. Rakesh is a visiting faculty of marketing at SDM Mysore and IIIT Bangalore and also conducts workshops on sales and communication for organizations.
Rakesh is an engineer from NIT Surathkal and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGSEM) from IIM-Bangalore. In his spare time, Rakesh likes to write, spend time with his friends and family.
Vasudev has deep interest in Renewable Energy, Clean Technology, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Development, Low Carbon Economy and desire to develop India as the Centre of Excellence for innovation in Clean Technology through Entrepreneurship Development activities in IIMB. He has 34 years of experience in developing intrapreneurship for increasing revenues, establishing distribution networks in India and abroad, streamlining workflow and creating a team work environment to enhance productivity in an innovative manner for reputed business houses.
Vasudev has held distinct positions in various organizations such as Vice-President of Defence and Industrial Composites SBU-Tata Advanced Materials Ltd., Joint Managing Director-Clarico FPC India Ltd., Deputy General Manager of Energy and Industrial Div. at Mannai Corporation Qsc, General Manager of Marketing-Tata Advanced Materials Ltd., General Manager of Exports-Elechem Group, Group Purchase and Insurance Manager-Mannai Corporation Qsc, Export Officer-Larsen & Toubro Ltd. and Product Planning Engineer-SIEMENS India Ltd.
Vasudev holds Master degree in Business Administration (MBA-Finance) from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade (PGDIT) from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Mech.) from National Institute of Technology (NIT)-Surathkal. He is multi linguistic who enjoys reading, Yoga, swimming, and Tai Chi Chuan exercises.
